Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary
I am Sr. Lerato Lydia Rankoti, a temporary professed sister from the congregation of Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (SNJM) from Lesotho Province in Southern Africa. I joined religious life in 2020 right after high school and made my first profession January 8, 2023. I am both a sociable and ambitious person. I also love reading and writing.
I have worked at Paki Health Centre in Mazenod, Lesotho as a bookkeeper. Currently, I am working at Maryland Vocational High School as the bursar at Leribe Moreneng, Lesotho. Besides working at the bursar, I also work as a sacristan at Maryland Parish and I assist in the kitchen at the convent. With the support and prayers of my fellow sisters, I love my ministry and I enjoy it.
We are in a new moment of the emergence of religious life. Therefore, this is a major opportunity for me to attend HOPE 2025. My congregation will count on me to bring back “Hope” and possibilities for the future of the congregation and religious life. Also, my hope for “HOPE 2025” is to listen, learn, connect with others and above all pray for the peace of the entire world, and Hope as the church too celebrates the Jubilee of Hope.
Please join us in prayer as sisters under 65 from around the world prepare for HOPE 2025. Click here for "A Prayer for HOPE 2025."
