I am currently working with indigenous communities in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. This mountainous region, with its diverse ethnic groups and cultures, is a particularly important area in the development map of our country. However, many ethnic minority communities here still face numerous difficulties in their daily lives, especially in the fields of education, healthcare, and economy. Ministering in such an area, we aim to empower these communities by fostering self-sufficiency and resilience, focusing on improving their living conditions and educational opportunities. Undertaking such a challenging ministry, we need to have new and more appropriate orientations to be more effective and impactful.
An important part of my work is serving people affected by leprosy. It is a mission that means a lot to me. Through this work, I try to show God’s love and bring hope to those who have often faced stigma and rejection. Whether it’s providing care, helping them rebuild their lives, or simply being there, it is always about compassion and dignity. It is humbling to witness their resilience, and I feel grateful to be part of their journey.
I found the program HOPE 2025 in Rome really a unique opportunity for me to connect with other sisters, share experiences, and gain valuable insights that can help shape both our current and future mission.
